The Anderson University Makerspace is located in the Chiquola Building in downtown Anderson, providing students with a hands-on creative space to bring their ideas to life.

First time here? Register before you visit
AU students, faculty, and staff need to accept the Makerspace waiver once via the User Registration Form before using the space. Visiting from outside AU? Use the Temporary User form instead — required for every visit.
How to access the Makerspace
- The entrance to the Chiquola Building has two card readers by the double doors. Use the right-side reader to scan your AU ID — the left-side reader does not provide access.
- Faculty and staff should have card access already. If you don't, contact Campus Safety to request it.
- Students do not have direct card access — during operating hours, a Makerspace employee will let you in.
- Look for the AU Makerspace sign in the window to confirm you're at the right entrance!
